Miss Maria Hartman-Rubio - Owner, Director, Head Teacher
I am very excited to be teaching at Allie & Friends! I was born in Mexico and moved to Minden in 1999. I have three Wonderful Sons, Carlos, Juan Pablo, and Josh, From the time I was very young I dreamed about becoming a teacher. I believe all I have learned in my life was to prepare me for this position. I have a degree in Accounting, a License in Massage Therapy/Anesthetic, Certificated as a Preschool Aid/Teacher; have attended nutrition and psychology classes, and various courses in the theory of Maria Montessori.
I was a Registered Nurse prior to opening Allie & Friends in 2009. I have three daughters from Kindergarten to teenager. This has been an amazing experience for me to be involved in children's lives. Ms. Katja Edmunds - Owner
Vicki- Head Teacher of Pre-School Room
I have been blessed to teach in program serving children since 1980. I have a site supervisor permit and a child development certificate. I am honored to be the preschool teacher at Alli and friends. I am a kids time and flip it trainer. It is a true blessing to be teaching these precious children and to be sharing God's love with them.

My name is Josie, and I have had the pleasure of working along side some great people and wonderful kids at Allie and Friends since January of 2013. To tell you a little about myself, I am originally from California and I graduated high school in June of 2012. I strongly believe that a little bit of laughter goes a long way, and I live each day living out my beliefs.

My husband and I have two kids, Skyler 8 and Alexia 5.
When I was 11 my parents started foster parenting
and I was always there helping my parents and taking
early childhood education classes with my parents all the
classes they took. I continued my education at western
nevada college and am starting back up this next semester.
I love children and am very blessed to
be apart of Allie and Friends
Haley- Sub. Teacher
I started working for Allie and Friends in the fall of 2010. These days I work as a substitute teacher at Allie & Friends and part time as a nanny while I attend college. I am completing my last year at WNC with plans to graduate in the spring. Yay! I am not sure where God will take me after that, but for now I am serving his little ones. Their creative minds, sweet words, and laughter bring me so much joy. I am constantly blessed by them!
Angele- Asst. Book Keeper
My name is Angele Hanson. I have lived in Gardnerville for the last 10 years and am employed full time with the State of Nevada as a Budget Analyst.
I am the proud parent of a four year old daughter, Lila, who has attended Allie & Friends since she was 11 weeks old.
My daughter is the perfect spokes model for Allie & Friends.......because of this awesome daycare/preschool Lila is advanced in her knowledge, very social, loving, and kind. I cannot say enough good things about Allie & Friends.
My "other" daughter, Josie, is also employed by Allie & Friends as a pre-school assistant and loves ALL the children and the part she gets to play in their social and educational development. I am so very proud of both of my daughters.
I started helping with the bookkeeping at Allie & Friends (my career since I was 15 years old) in July of this year. I love working with all of the ladies at Allie & Friends and am proud to be a part of their business success.
